Honor is set to unveil its 7.09-inch behemoth X10 Max tomorrow but there was time for one final leak as images of the phone and its alleged price tag surfaced online. The first image is a look at the front which reveals a waterdrop notch on the top of the extra-large IPS LCD. We also get a glimpse of the official colors which include black, silver and blue.
Another interesting detail is the pricing of the device which will allegedly start at CNY 2,399 ($339) for the 6/64GB trim while the 6/128GB one will go for CNY 2,599 ($367). There’s also going to be an 8/128GB model which is expected to go for CNY 2,799 ($395). The X10 Max is expected to be launched with the Mediatek Dimensity 800, a dual-camera setup with a 48MP primary shooter and a 5,000mAh battery.
Rumors about OnePlus’ upcoming mid-range handset have been largely conflicting when it comes to the chipset. The first reports said that MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000 will be the heart of the phone but the Snapdragon 765G has been thrown around lately. Well, there’s no room for doubt anymore all thanks to Qualcomm and OnePlus itself.
In a tweet that has been taken down since, Qualcomm’s EU branch said that they “are excited to work with OnePlus as they embark on new beginnings” hinting that the company’s next smartphone will be powered by the 5G-compatible Snapdragon chipset.
This was further confirmed by the co-founder Carl Pei in an interview with TechRadar. He said that the Nord will employ the Snapdragon 765G chipset making it an affordable 5G-enabled handset.
The Poco M2 Pro that we’ve been hearing about for the past couple of months will be finally unveiled on July 7 in India, through an online event that will start at 12PM local time (6:30AM UTC).
The M2 Pro will mark the debut of the new M series, joining the existing X and F lineups which include the X2, F1, and F2 Pro. The last one wasn’t launched in India, though.
Poco hasn’t revealed any specifications about the M2 Pro yet, but it did give us a glimpse of its back which is similar to the global version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro – four cameras located in the center in a square formation with the LED flash placed right below.
Additionally, the video teaser shared by the company includes a silhouette of the M2 Pro with a recess on the right side hinting at a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
In a separate teaser video, the company confirmed fast charging support for the M2 Pro.
Past leaks and rumors point at the M2 Pro being a rebranded Redmi Note 9 Pro (global variant), and if that’s the case, then you can expect it to come with a Snapdragon 720G SoC, 6.67″ FullHD+ LCD, side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 5,020 mAh battery with 30W charging.

In terms of imaging, it will have a 16MP snapper on the front and the 64MP main camera at the back will be joined by an 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro and 2MP depth units.
The Poco M2 Pro will be sold through Flipkart in India and the company has promised to reveal more about the smartphone tomorrow.
The Realme X50 5G arrived in January as one of the first smartphones with the next-gen connectivity. It immediately started selling in China, but it sure took its sweet time come to Europe.
The Spanish website of Realme has now revealed the wait is over and the X50 5G will come on July 8. It will be presented during an online event, scheduled to start at 10:30 AM local time.
The poster also reveals the Realme Buds Q will join the party. They are TWS earphones that come in a pill-shaped box and are pretty cheap – they are selling for the equivalent of €18 in China or €23 in India.
When the Realme X50 5G arrives in Europe, it will bring a quad-camera setup – 64MP main + 12MP telephoto + 8MP ultrawide-angle + 2MP macro snappers. However, some leaksters assume that Realme might want to bring the price down and actually introduce the X50m 5G smartphone under the X50 5G moniker, meaning we could be up to a less impressive 48MP main + 8MP ultrawide-angle + 2MP macro + 2MP depth combination.
We’re looking at a phone with a Snapdragon 765G chipset, 6.57” LCD with 120Hz refresh rate, dual selfie cameras and a 4,200mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 fast charging at 30W.
The Samsung Galaxy M01s recently bagged TUV Rheinland certification with a 3,900 mAh battery and now it has been spotted on Google Play Console, which reveals the M01s is actually a rebranded Galaxy A10s announced last August.
The listing of the Galaxy A10s on the Play Console also mentions the Galaxy M01s, suggesting the M01s will be a rebadged A10s. It also includes key specs – Helio P22 SoC, up to 3GB RAM, and an HD+ display.
If the Galaxy M01s is indeed a rebranded A10s, then you can expect it to pack a 6.2″ TFT display, an 8MP selfie camera, and a dual camera setup at the back comprising a 13MP main and 2MP depth sensor units.

The smartphone will also feature a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, a dedicated slot for microSD card, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microUSB port.
The iQOO Z1x sporting model code V2012A was spotted on TENAA yesterday with a 6.57″ screen and a 4,880 mAh battery. The listing didn’t include any other specs of the smartphone but a separate listing on the Chinese certifying authority’s website has revealed the full specs and design of the iQOO Z1x.
The iQOO Z1x has a design similar to the Z1, but at 9.06mm it’s 0.16mm thicker than the Z1. The 6.57″ TFT screen, rumored to have a 120Hz refresh rate, has a resolution of 2408×1080 pixels and in the top-right corner is a punch hole for the 16MP selfie camera.
The back of the Z1x is home to a triple camera setup which is a combination of one 48MP and two 2MP units. Under the hood, the Z1x has an octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz which is likely a part of the Snapdragon 765G SoC.
iQOO Z1x on TENAA
According to TENAA, the Z1x will run Android 10 out of the box and will come with 6GB and 8GB RAM with three storage options – 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The smartphone also passed through Geekbench confirming the 8GB RAM model.
The iQOO Z1x will feature a side-mounted fingerprint reader and support dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA).
With the full specs and design revealed, now all we want to know is when will iQOO make the Z1x official and how much it will cost.
Samsung is preparing to launch a new version of the Galaxy Z Flip with 5G on August 5, when the Galaxy Note20 is also expected to arrive. The new phone is rumored to have a Snapdragon 865+ chipset and a different set of cameras, but today’s new photos on TENAA reveal practically no changes in the overall design. However, we do see a silver color of the body, which is different than any of the Mirror options Samsung initially introduced.

While the camera one on the inside will retain the 12MP sensor, on the outside the setup will be 12 MP + 10 MP, compared to 12 MP + 12 MP combo in the first Galaxy Z Flip.
The big foldable display is 6.7” AMOLED with 1080p resolution, while the outer smaller screen right next to the dual camera is another AMOLED with a resolution of 300 x 112 pixels.

Battery is listed as 2,500 + 704 mAh, meaning it is likely to remain close to the 3,300 mAh, but with the internals of the new chipset, we might be up for a slight change in the charging department.
The CPU of the Snapdragon 865+ is expected to break the 3 GHz threshold, and TENAA hints at this as well – the Z Flip 5G will have a processor that can go as high as 3.09 GHz.
Honor’s official Weibo handle confirmed that the Honor 30 Lite, expected to be announced on Thursday, will support a 90Hz display along with a 180Hz touch sample rate digitizer. Equipped with these two features, the Honor 30 Lite should be a great option for gaming on a budget, and it will support 5G out of the box.
Another Weibo user posted images of the Honor 30 Lite in four different colors. We anticipate the “summer rainbow” color will be the most popular. The reflective effect begins at the lower left corner of the phone’s back cover and blooms towards the other corner. As per Sparrow News, these colors are Summer Rainbow, Mirage Silver, Wizard of Oz, and Night Black.
The Honor 30 Lite will be announced on July 2 and the same device was spotted just yesterday passing through the TENAA, where the device’s specs were revealed. Also known as the Honor 30 Youth, the 30 Lite will support dual-5G connectivity, and come in either 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB RAM configurations with either 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB internal storage.
There’s a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 48MP main shooter and two other secondary cameras: one 8MP and the other 2MP. There’s also a 16MP front-facing camera, which sits behind a dew-drop notch. The 90Hz display will be of the LCD variety with 6.5-inches diagonally.
Apple has had one of the easiest methods of sharing large media files or documents over the air called AirDrop. Android used to have an NFC-based handshake method called Android Beam, but it was completely depreciated with Android 10. It used NFC to initiate a connection for file transfers, but it used Bluetooth, which was painfully slow.
Android Police have reported that the new Nearby Sharing feature is now in Beta testing. Those who are Beta testers of the Google Play Services app. The Beta is now rolling out to these users, who will now see an option to share something “Nearby” in the Android share menu. Android Police has shared some screenshots of the feature in action.

Once setup, the Nearby Share option will show you nearby devices, you can select the visibility levels to your contacts, or you can turn the feature off altogether.
If you have Nearby Sharing turned on, you’ll be able to see when someone is trying to share something nearby, even if you don’t appear to the sender. You can tap the notification to become visible to receive files.

In a statement to the news outlet, Google has confirmed that it plans to share more information about Nearby Share in the future. The goal is to launch Nearby Sharing with support all the way to Android 6 (Marshmallow) and up.
Less than a year ago, it was discovered that Google was working on a replacement for Android Beam called Nearby Sharing and XDA-Developers even managed to demo an early iteration of the feature. It works a lot like how Apple’s AirDrop works: the recipient and sender need Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to be turned on. Then, Bluetooth will initiate a connection and Wi-Fi takes over. The Nearby Share feature would work directly from Android’s “Share” menu.
Samsung had S-Share for several years, which used NFC to initiate a connection, but then sent files over Wi-Fi. While this was a more worthwhile way to send files, it remained exclusive to Samsung devices. Huawei Share works very similarly to AirDrop already, the only limitation was that it required a Huawei device. Anyway, its nice to finally see the feature close to more widespread adoption.
The Pixel 4a saga continues. This affordable smartphone was initially rumored to make an appearance at the Google I/O conference in May, but then that got canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. So we heard the launch was pushed to July, but apparently that’s not happening anymore, with the handset inexplicably now being expected to see the light of day in October.
That’s weird, considering how much it’s already leaked, but it’s far from the weirdest thing Google’s ever done. Regardless of when the Pixel 4a will actually become available, it’s continuing its certification march. It was recently spotted at the FCC, and it’s also added a couple more such prerequisite steps in its journey towards availability, at IMDA and BIS.
The latter may mean that it will be launched in India, but it’s not a given. These documents don’t really reveal anything we didn’t know. The Pixel 4a will have 4G support (and no 5G), NFC, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth, unsurprisingly.
Past rumors and leaks have talked about the phone coming with a 5.81-inch FHD+ OLED touchscreen (with no high refresh rate), a 3,080 mAh battery, and a single rear camera. Expect to see the Snapdragon 730 SoC running things, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of storage.
Today Qualcomm took the wraps off its next wearable chipset family, the Snapdragon Wear 4100 and 4100+. Based on the model numbers of the contained chips, these seem to be based off of the Snapdragon 429 mobile SoC.
The Snapdragon Wear 4100+ includes the main SoC, the Always-On (AON) co-processor for low power states, along with companion chips including PMIC, RF for modem/GPS and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, and RFFE. The Snapdragon Wear 4100 (sans “+”) does not have the AON co-processor. Otherwise, the two are identical.
The Wear 4100+ is built on a 12nm process and has a 1.7 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, Adreno 504 GPU, support for 750 MHz LPDDR3 memory and eMMC 4.5 storage, as well as dual ISPs with support for up to 16 MP cameras. Yes, cameras, on wearables. We’re not sure why, but maybe new products in the pipeline will surprise us.
The Wear 4100+ is designed to deliver 85% better performance than the Wear 3100, while the 4G LTE modem, also based on 12nm process technology, now has a dedicated DSP, low power features, and supports Cat.4 LTE and dual antennas.
There’s a smarter AON co-processor, which enhances battery life and now can show up to 64K colors (compared to 16 in the Wear 3100). This can also handle continuous heart rate and sleep monitoring, step counting, alarms, timers, and haptics, and it also has faster tilt-to-wake responsiveness.
The Wear 4100 family has Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 5.0, which reduces power consumption by around 25%. This platform is intended for use with Google’s Wear OS as well as the open source version of that. Qualcomm has unveiled that the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 is coming soon powered by the new chip, as well as a new Suunto wearable, while imoo will launch the Z6 Ultra kids smartwatch using the Wear 4100 within the next 30 days.
A few interesting announcements took place in week 38 and three of those came courtesy of Samsung – the first mid-ranger with a triple camera Galaxy A7 (2018) and a couple of entry-level devices in Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+.
Meanwhile Xiaomi gave us two more members of the Mi 8 family – the Mi 8 Lite and Mi 8 Pro, while Meizu gave us four new handsets – the 16X, the X8 and the V8 duo.
Meanwhile OnePlus was a prominent feature in our rumor mill with its 6T flagship, along with Xiaomi and its upcoimng Redmi Note 6 Pro mid-ranger. .

Vitamix and Blendtec are the two biggest names in high-powered home blenders. In our testing, we’ve always preferred Vitamix. We still get asked about Blendtec, though, maybe thanks to its popular “Will It Blend?” campaign, which features a Blendtec pulverizing iPhones and other objects that would taste bad in smoothies. The image of a phone turned to dust is a compelling demonstration of raw power, but pulverizing a phone and making a good smoothie are two very different tasks.
To prove it, we pitted the Blendtec Designer 675 against the Vitamix 5200 (our top-pick blender) in a series of tests, and the Vitamix won every time. The Vitamix was much better at smoothies, soups, nut butters—the things you’d need a kitchen blender for, in other words.
We chose to compare those two models because they offered roughly similar features and control schemes. The 5200 is Vitamix’s original variable-speed model, and it offers the power and performance Vitamix blenders are known
